This art exhibition, featuring emerging artists, builds on the ideas explored in the 2010 Hancock Lecture, The Necessity of Virtue by Dr. Jordan B. Peterson. The fluctuations and uncertainty of life impels us to create our own meanings. In this exhibition, young artists working in various media will explore their personal aesthetic of ordering of the world. The artworks investigate perceptual patterns to examine how meaning is derived from form. Truth, value, existence, and the structure of meaning will be considered within the context of the artists’ personal sense of beauty.
