About: Kieren happily works both sides of the score. As a composer, he is regularly commissioned by artists and organizations throughout North America. His compositions — hailed by critics as “brilliant”, “smart and moving”, and “heart-rending” — have been seen and heard by thousands of people across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Also in demand as a keyboardist, singer, lecturer, and music director, Kieren averages over one hundred performances and appearances every year. He has been an instructor at numerous music schools, camps, and festivals (NYSSSA, StArt Youth Presenting Art Festival, Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts), and was the inaugural Keynote Speaker at the University of Colorado–Boulder’s Entrepreneurship Center for Music.
