About: Originally from Tisdale Saskatchewan, Carmen has studied theatre at Mount Royal College (Calgary), Dalhousie University (Halifax), and the National Theatre School of Canada (Montreal). She recently closed her debut season at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, where she understudied Seana McKenna’s gender-defying Richard III, and appeared in Titus Andronicus. Carmen will return to Stratford this November to attend her second year of the Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Acting, and another happy season at the Festival in 2012.
