Brandon has attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York, and has worked with acclaimed acting coach Larry Moss, and also Andrew Tidmarsh from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
He is currently developing a short film that will begin production in January 2011.
PRODUCTION TEAM
Elenna is a Toronto native who has recently returned to the city after completing her MFA in Directing at Ohio University and is ready to take Toronto by a storm! Working with Kristin Marting at HERE in New York City for the last six months, Elenna assistant directed SOUNDING, an adaptation of Ibsen's Lady From the Sea; worked in programming as part of HARP, the HERE Artists Residency Program, and orchestrated 'Picket Dreams,' an interactive art installation that was part of FIGMENT Festival on Governor's Island.
In 2008, Elenna spent 6 months living and working in Europe where she worked with the lauded experimental company Punchdrunk in London as well as the Royal Opera House on a site-specific community based opera called Sun & Heir and trained with Augusto Boal in Berlin and Theatre du Complicite in Verbatim Theatre in the UK. Elenna traveled to Edinburgh with archivist Cindy Oswin interviewing and documenting figures that were part of the history of the Edinburgh Fringe for the British Library archives.
While at Ohio University, Elenna formed Limehouse Theatre with Vanessa Meracdo Taylor and Kat Primeau. The trio created and produced Hallucinogenic Toreador (based on the PAINting by Salvador Dali), which premiered at the Prague International Fringe followed by productions in Athens, Ohio and Dallas, Texas to rave reviews.
Last year, Limehouse produced a reading of Corazon de Manzana, a new play by Dana Lynn Formby that explores our connection to the murdered and missing women of Juarez, Mexico. Recently in NYC, Limehouse created Tree of Fears, a participatory installation in the back of a truck as part of The Lost Horizon Night Market. Mosoff, Mercado and Primeau continue to run Limehouse Theatre producing shows in their respective cities, Toronto, Dallas and LA.
Elenna has directed numerous shows. At Ohio University: How I Learned to Drive; The Chairs; Metropolis Has no Superman; The Wonderful World of Dissocia; The Gratifications. For Hart House Theatre: Reefer-Madness The Musical (Canadian Premiere); The Rocky Horror Show; Godspell. Assistant Direction: Sounding (Kristing Marting, NYC), Songs for a New World (Chris Abraham, Young Centre), Betty's Summer Vacation (Dennis Lee Delaney).
Excited to be back in her hometown, now working as the Associate Producer for Acting Up Stage. With Limehouse Theatre, Elenna is developing ZED., a project inspired by the novel World War Z, that occurs as seven site-specific, participatory events that happen over the course of a year, culminating in a final mass event on the summer solstice of 2012.
