Melanie Mastronardi - Kit Kat Dancer

For Hart House Theatre: Debut.

Selected Credits:  Velma Kelly in Chicago (St. Michael’s College Theatre), Velma Von Tussle in Hairspray (St. Michael’s College Theatre), Cobweb in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (UC Follies).  Dancer: The Rocky Horror Show (Victoria College Drama Society), The Producers (Orpheus Musical Theatre Society), Pippin (Unicorn Theatre), A Musical Taste of Our Canadian Heritage (Odyssey Showcase), various productions aboard Norwegian Cruise Lines (Jean Anne Ryan Productions).  Assistant Choreographer for Hairspray (St. Michael’s College Theatre).

About:  Melanie trained as a dancer for many years before discovering her passion for musical theatre and since then has continued to pursue both theatre and dance alongside her academic studies.  Melanie has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Theatre from the University of Ottawa and is currently pursuing her PhD in Chemistry at the University of Toronto.  Melanie has also coached and danced with the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees Dance Team, and been a member of the University of Toronto Varsity Blues Dance Team.  Melanie is very excited to be making her Hart House debut in Cabaret.
