What: The theme for TEDxToronto is A Call to Action, challenging the speakers to transform their ideas into a tangible action that will make a positive difference in their communities. We will be webcasting the event in the Arbor Room.

TED is an annual event where some of the world’s leading thinkers and doers are invited to share what they are most passionate about – “Ideas Worth Spreading”.

“TED” stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design – three broad subject areas that are, collectively, shaping our future.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called “TEDx” – local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience and Toronto will host the TEDxToronto at Glenn Gould Studio on Thursday September 30th 2010.
