Poetry Workshop

Open to U of T students and members of Hart House

We are the Algonquin Square Table (AST) poetry workshop. We are starting our 16th year at Hart House. Our mandate is to help students with their poetry. You may come to as many, or as few meetings as you like.
If you want to give us a try, bring 10 copies of one poem to any meeting listed below. Or just come, sit in and see what we’re all about.

AST members include professors, teachers, U of T students and graduates. Members range from widely published, award-winning poets, to beginners just discovering their talents. The workshop is open to all kinds of poetry and poets. But you must be a U of T student or Hart House member to join. This is a poetry workshop. We do not workshop prose. Please do not bring fiction, non-fiction, or any other kind of prose to the workshop.
