Andrea Beiko, a graduate from Sheridan College (University of Toronto joint program) began photographing pieces for the Phonebook collection in 2008. A work in progress, the Phonebook collection currently consists of over 250 payphone photographs taken all over North America - from big cities like NYC to small towns like Kingston.
Ten selected images are displayed in the Arbor Room to present viewers with a narrative that is generally overlooked. The experience becomes a unique one for every individual as they interpret the collection  and perceive a narrative told by not just the payphones but its surrounding architecture and space.
