Hart House Review Launch

Details: Hart House Review invites you to celebrate the launch of its 20th issue, featuring work by Rebecca Rosenblum, Helen Guri, Prathna Lor and artist Kristiina Lahde. The evening will feature readings by Rebecca Rosenblum, Prathna Lor and featured contributors.

Hart House Review (HHR) is a non-profit, Canadian literary and arts magazine managed by student members of the Hart House Literary and Library Committee. The magazine publishes prose, poetry, drama, art and photography.

When: Friday, April 15, 2011, 7:30-11:00 pm.

About the featured writers and artist:
Rebecca Rosenblum’s fiction has been shortlisted for the Journey Prize, the National Magazine Award and the Danuta Gleed Award, longlisted for the Relit Award and she herself was a juror for the Journey Prize 21. Her collection, Once, won the Metcalf-Rooke Award and was one of Quill & Quire’s “15 Books That Mattered” in 2008. Her first chapbook, Road Trips, was published by Frogs Hollow Press in 2010. Prathna Lor is the author of Ventriloquism (Future Tense Books).

Kristiina Lahde is an artist based in Toronto. She received her BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 1999. Kristiina works in collage, sculpture and installation. Her work is being featured this Spring at Oakville Galleries and at the Montreal Biennale. Kristiina Lahde is represented by MKG127, Toronto.
