Thomas Pandolfi – Piano

On Sunday, March 18^th at 3pm, Sunday Concerts is pleased to present a young American pianist.  Thomas Pandolfi is an exciting virtuoso who, with each passing season, is becoming more and more sought after by audiences worldwide. The Asheville Citizen-Times called him “a standout among today's young pianists...his virtuosity and strength might have had some believing that Liszt himself had taken over the keyboard." His orchestral appearances often feature masterpiece concerti by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, and Liszt. Additionally, he is considered a leading interpreter of the works of George Gershwin in the “Pops” genre. A graduate of The Juilliard School, Mr. Pandolfi’s career has already included performances with such European orchestras as The George Enescu Philharmonic and The Cluj Philharmonic, as well as the American symphony orchestras of Mississippi, Cedar Rapids, and Asheville to name but a few. Mr. Pandolfi is pleased to make his recital debut in Toronto.
