CONSCIOUS ACTIVISM DOC SERIES

Join us for a series of documentary films for the curious and the concerned. Born of a desire to address injustice, each of these films is a call to action and an affirmation of the tenacity and courage of the human spirit in the midst of devastating circumstances.

UofT FILM FESTIVAL

The 2012 University of Toronto Film Festival will be at Hart House on April 2. The Festival will feature a screening of the best films and videos from the University of Toronto community.

CREATIVE CLASSES IN FILMMAKING

Hart House offers a full complement of entry-level filmmaking classes to help all budding filmmakers kick-start their career at a fraction of the cost of film school.

Filmmaking Classes at Hart House fall into three distinct areas:

1. multi-week classes focused on storytelling (writing, directing, editing);
2. short classes in core equipment areas (cameras, lights, audio);
3. 100% hands-on shooting and cutting exercises.

HART HOUSE FILM BOARD

The Film Board is a Hart House club that helps its members make movies through teaching filmmaking in workshops, lending out advanced, professional film & video gear and more! Learn more about the Hart House Film Board.

HART HOUSE FILM CHALLENGE

Can you make a film in 74 hours? Every Friday at 10:00am a new challenge will be posted. Films must be uploaded by noon the following Monday to be eligible for prizes. An advance schedule of genres and special themes is posted. Enter as often as you like.
